So here we were, at the lowest point of earth… I’m buoyant in your dead sea too! Although I am on the other side, the Jordanian part, my eyes are fixed on your hazy hills. I am captivated by the love I feel for you and although we have never met, I miss you and I long for you ‘ya Felesteen’, O Palestine.
God, The Most-Magnificent, says in the Quran: “The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land, but after their defeat they will soon be victorious. Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after, is with God.” [Quran 30:2-4]
And so will we. Our time will come too, all in due time. Promise.
