We All Wear Masks

The human genius is extraordinary.

Yet we shy from knowing our true selves – we are told there is only one way to be; it has been inculcating into our minds from our first scream into this earth.

We speak the same and dress the same, we dance the same and curse the same…

A few years ago I heard that now is the era of individualization,  yet all I find is globalization.

I can’t tell where I am anymore – we all party the same and drink the same, our ways are the same and our game is the same … we look the same and dress the same.

Imitation was a form of flattery but now a form of idiocy. Our understanding has been governed and our senses have been chained.

Our masks have been glued on and the mere thought of change brings much fear and pain. Shall we face the pain and meet our selves? For many of us don’t know who that is.

Why do we waste the days trying to fit in when we can spend our days learning why we should not fit in?
