For the secularists we are the worst of religions; and for us they are the cool idealists that we aspire to. So we are imitating a people that mock, hate and bad mouth us. Hmm.
So, to the misinformed and to those ignorant to what lies beyond their sphere of existence: Islam is not to kill in the name of God nor in the name of religion. Islam is a peaceful surrender to God, His law/ order and in that surrender a sweet humility to Him and our fellow humans.
In the midst of it all we Muslims remain humble and choose to speak peace ✊ Actually, its not that we choose to but that it becomes the natural state of our heart.
“And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace.” [Quran 25:63]
