The example we find and learn from Maryam (as) is her devotion, exemplary worship to her Creator and in guarding her chastity.
Chastity, one may think: what an old fashioned word. Absolutely, but do we not agree that guarding that which is private, even sacred, is more fulfilling than wasted energy?

While some claim immodesty is freedom, time has shown that it is in fact a form of slavery. Our days are filled with perceiving images on screens, beautifully branded normalizing our world perception with the meaning of liberation.
We should stop to ask: What is freedom to me, my individual self in this collective connected scheme of universe?
