We are part of a historical continuum. Petra (Al-Batra’), a world wonder of human genius was once a wealthy trade town home to the Nabateans tribe. It stands now as a marvelous haunted city of rocks and jinns, this pathway was filled with merchants selling precious commodities from all over the world and it was blessed with rivers that gushed through the hills to create a beautiful oasis that cooled it from its desert heat. Today Petra is a mysterious dry memory and a UNESCO heritage site. Its people as well as its riches gone; we all come to this world with nothing and we leave with nothing. Try to keep that in mind, and stay humble.
