Islamic tradition states that everything is expanding and contracting: the heart, the lungs, the pupils, the universe, the corals, ..<\/p>\n
Under water, Snorkeling or Scuba-diving with this awareness we too can observe these Divine attributes. SubhanAllah. The fish come together and then push away from each other, contracting – expanding. The corals breathing, contracting – expanding. Even on top, the waves pull back and then crash in, contracting – expanding.<\/p>\n
Contraction and expansion are our deepest presence.<\/p>\n
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) taught: “There lies within the body a piece of flesh. If it is sound, the whole body is sound; and if it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted. Verily this piece is the heart.”<\/p>\n
